WHO CAN PLAY?
EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY! ALL AGES
Individuals can enter by themselves and are encouraged to refer other individuals and groups to increase their odds of winning the GOOD ENGAGER AWARD.
Organizations can ALSO participate by signing up as many Do-Gooders as they can and by proposing volunteer activities that can count as acts for individuals. For example, a local community center could announce a community clean up at which individuals can attend to volunteer.

How do I get points for Engagement/Recruitments?
To be sure your recruitment efforts and points are counted, create a unique recruitment name for yourself that includes a number, such as JohnDoe627, that you can use to tell the people that you recruit to type into the form when registering. The number of recruitments you will receive will be based on how many people typed in your unique recruitment name while registering.
What can be considered a group?
Groups for the DGAT are organizations, schools and business can join as a group to use the Do-Good-A-Thon as a catalyst activity to spark service intentions and activities and improve organizational climates. The GROUP that recruits the most players wins a Prize.
Who can be considered a stranger?
Any person that you do not know. Cannot be a family member or a friend who you would normally assist. The point of this game is to have the players teach strangers how to care for others by setting examples in action. We know you take care of those you know! Now help us take care of people that you don’t know!
